The reality is this: There are three little known secrets that 'big business' doesn't want you to know. Let's face it, 'big business' needs employees and they don't want these secrets to get out of the bag!
Secret Number One - JOB SECURITY
True job security is a thing of the past, and here's why. Have you ever heard the terms "merger" or "acquisition"? You may have heard them, but do you really know what they mean, and why they have eliminated true job security? Even though these business practices are very complex, here is a very simple example that exposes the true nature of big business today.
Suppose here was a little shopping center with two restaurants right next to each other, a pizza parlor and a deli. Each business has it's own equipment, employees, and dining room. So, what happens if these two businesses decide to merge together? Well, all they really need to do is remove the wall that separates them and they end up with one big dining room. But there's more. They soon find out that they don't need two counters, two kitchens, or two of anything. So what happens? The extra kitchen is sold for cash and the cooks are fired. The extra counter is sold for cash and the counter person is fired. The extra space is converted into more dinning room space. So the result is a bigger business, with less equipment, less employees, and a bigger dining room. In short, more sales and less expenses. When a merger takes place in big business, the people involved walk away with obscene amounts of cash, and you, the employee, are little more than a pawn in someone else's chess game.
Secret Number Two - THE DUAL INCOME MYTH
With so many families struggling to get by these days, most of them have arrived at the same solution: both parents work and they become dual income families. Well, consider this example. The second parent enters the workforce thinking the extra money will help the family. HEREIN LIES THE MYTH. Let's say mom goes out and gets a job earning $25,000 a year, which is about $480 per week. Sounds good but here is what most people don't see. After taxes (25%), mom is left with $360 to take home. But then there is day care ($150), leaving mom with $210. Then there's the extra gasoline ($20), buying lunch everyday ($30), dry cleaning ($30), parking ($25), and now mom is down to $105. But then what happens? With mom working, there is no time to go grocery shopping or to cook healthy meals at home, so the family orders out, or eats out, 2 or 3 times per week ($90), and now mom is left with $15 to show for 40 hours of work, or 38 cents per hour. But it gets worse. The extra $25,000 a year puts the family into a higher tax bracket, and at the end of the year, they get hit with a huge tax bill. That's the myth: when the second parent leaves the home to enter the workforce, the second parent ends up working full time making little or no money at all, they rarely get to see their kids anymore, and the whole family suffers.
Secret Number Three - TAX ADVANTAGES OF A HOME-BASED BUSINESS
This "little known" secret is the best one of all! The tax advantages of a home-based business are literally unbelievable. A home-based business has a different set of rules than any other kind of business. First of all, you can deduct a portion of your rent, mortgage interest, phone bill, electric bill, gas bill, repair bills, etc. In a home-based business, you can hire your kids (ages 7 and up) and then deduct the education expense of your employees. You can deduct private school tuition, home- school expenses, even college tuition! But there's more. You can offer your employee's (your kids and spouse) benefits such as vacations. (Are you getting this? You can write off your family's vacations!) On top of that, you can offer your employees (your kids and spouse) benefits such as medical and dental and write that off too! And this is just a little taste of what's possible. Most importantly, when you start a home-based business, you don't create more expenses like day care, meals, parking, dry cleaning, gasoline, etc. So you get to keep every penny that you earn. And above all, you can do all this and be home all of the time. You can be there for your children. What do you think is better for your children and your family?
So there you have it, three secrets that can change your life. What you will decide to do with this information could change your future for ever. What will you decide?
